Adjustable Pack Saddle with Rolled Breeching & Breast Collar

The hinged bars on this pack saddle automatically adjust for the proper fit for your horses or mules. Bars are of nearly indestructible ABS plastic, rounded at the edges and textured on the bottom. Arches are made of 5/8" zinc plated steel and have a "T" top for hooking pannier straps. The rigging is made with Hermann Oak Old World harness leather, the best hardware and our personal attention to craftsmanship. Rolled breastcollar and breeching will prevent chafing and soring. We add roller buckles on the quarter straps for easy adjustment. Designed with standard sawbuck double rigging. Sold ready to pack with four latigos and our 100% mohair, double ring, double pack cinch.

Specify even cinch size 24/26" - 30/32" and low-withered or high-withered bars.

The cinches are 100% wool, double rigged, with woven-in double rings for pannier tie-downs. We recommend a 26/28" for average 1,000 pound pack animals; it is always better to have a slightly shorter cinch with a pack saddle than with a riding saddle.
